Fruit Pudding recipe from Grandma, from Joni of JD’s Kitchen & Bakery

It’s no secret that Joni Warren of JD Kitchen & Bakery on Smallhouse road comes from a long line of people who have made life better in the kitchen for Southern Kentuckians and Nashvillians. From her early days serving up delicious breakfasts at the SKY Farmer’s Market, to her breakfast spot downtown to the newest location after her food truck. Also through her family at JD Milk company and family who have served their community food and other products that have made life easier in the kitchen. That’s why we had to go to her for a delicious recipe before the holidays. That’s how we got her Grandma Diener’s Fruit Pudding. Joni remembers days living with her when she was a child after her family home was destroyed in a fire and it was this pudding she made with her. Even down to the time spent in Grandma Diener’s garden picking the rhubarb.
