Think Little CSA’s Week 11 Update: “Housecleaning…”

[Some official business] First, the week after next will be the last CSA pick-up of 2014. It’ll be the Tuesday before Christmas, so we plan on giving you all a few extra storage items to get you through. We’ll be taking two weeks off to settle into our new home and attend the Kentucky Fruit and Vegetable Conference. The first pick-up (and payment) of 2015 will be on January 13th. Originally, everyone signed year-long agreements, primarily to insure our income throughout the year.

That being said, there has been a significant amount of interest in Think Little CSA membership. While we really appreciate your support and love getting to know each of you, if you don’t feel it is in your best interest to continue, please let us know (no hard feelings, really). Second, we may be creating additional ‘Summer/Fall only’ shares, but at premium of $25/week for six months (meaning members who supported us–or stuck it out–through the Winter/Spring will be getting a discount).

Last, because of the holidays, if you won’t be getting your share on a given week, feel free to gift it to a friend or let us know ahead of time. If you have any questions, please send an email, text, or call. Tomorrow, you’ll be getting: red kale, chard, spinach, carrots, butternut squash, and garlic.

Please check out the Think Little CSA facebook page for more information! For those wanting to join their CSA email them at thinklittlecsa@gmail.com.
