It is the 10th year of conducting The Polar Express storytimes aboard the Historic Railpark’s Duncan Hines Dining Car at the L&N Depot. Sponsored by Kentucky Blue Gas Co. in partnership with the Warren County Public Library and the Historic Railpark and Train Museum, families are invited to board The Polar Express December 2-4 and 9-12. The Polar Express Storytime has become a wonderful, Christmas tradition enjoyed by the families of our community. This delightful event brings this classic children’s book to life, and is enjoyed by parents and children alike.
Participants will enjoy a reading of Chris Van Allsburgh’s The Polar Express aboard the Duncan Hines Dining Car. Afterward, cookies and hot chocolate will be served in the Depot. In the spirit of the book, children are invited to wear their PJ’s.
