One of the best places for Music every weekend is Lost River Pizza Co. This week starts up with Brad Anderson at 9pm tonight:

Too often in today’s country music, artists sing songs about experiences they never had, selling a lifestyle they’ve neither lived, nor experienced. That is not the case with Brad Anderson. He has lived what he sings about. When you hear him, you know exactly who he is and why he’s destined to become a legend.

Born and raised in Blackshear, Georgia, Brad’s childhood was steeped in gospel music, which played regularly on the turntable in the Anderson home. His first introduction to performing was at age five, singing in church. At seven years old, Brad began playing guitar.

Although gospel music was what he was raised on, the harmonies of bands like Shenandoah, Diamond Rio and Restless Heart, as well as the songwriting styles of Don Williams and Waylon Jennings, cemented his love for country music. It was country music in the 90’s which gave Brad his inspiration to write and still remains his favorite decade in that genre.

Saturday, Miles From Hazard takes over Lost River Pizza Co. at 8pm:

Miles from Hazard a 5 piece Country/southern rock band based in Bowling Green. The rock solid rhythms, soulful melodies and truthfully lyrics makes Miles from Hazard Band a powerful eccentric country music force.
After Miles From Hazard Shannon Lawson:
Blending country and bluegrass with healthy side portions of blues and rock & roll, singer/songwriter Shannon Lawson was born in Taylorsville, KY. Lawson’s family was full of amateur musicians who had frequent picking sessions at home, and he first began trying his hand at his uncle’s guitar at age four; three years later, he got a nylon-string acoustic of his own.

Lost River wraps up the weekend with Get Up & Play. Come in Sunday and join Lost River Pizza Co. and Host Andrew Causey for “Get Up & Play” at 7 pm. It’s our open mic night that’s open to all ages and all genres. Check out Lost River Pizza Co.’s facebook page and keep updated on more events that are unique to Bowling Green.
