Just a reminder that the next Southern Kentucky Genealogical Society meeting will be held tonight at the Kentucky Building, Western Kentucky University. The meeting will begin at 6:30pm and is open to the public.
Allen Hurst will be presenting a program on Cemetery Preservation. He will discuss one example he undertook in restoring the monuments of his GGGG Grandparents, one grave being that of a Revolutionary War veteran in Simpson Co., KY. They will discuss options in repair, maintenance and cleaning of markers. Allen is currently serving on the Warren County Cemetery Board.
