In June of 2011 B&J Gallery and Buy Local Bowling Green gave away a piece of art and American history with the Fort Knox Floor American Flag. Well, a new shipment of them are available at B&J Gallery but the majority of flags are harder to come by as Mr. Walkup had his final Bowling Green Public show last year. It’s a piece of art that has a historical significance to Kentucky and our fighting in World War II. The flag is made of the Barrack floors of Ft. Knox. Here is a photo of one of those soldiers who trained at Ft. Knox during the era this floor was used:

The wood is all but gone. Put more art and love in the lives of your family and friends with a gift from B&J Gallery. Hurry into their store on 107 Nellums Ave. off Fairview Avenue. They are also online at www.bandjgallery.com and on facebook.
