Join the WKU Department of Sociology and the 17th Convention of Bosniaks for a Bosnian Film Week at WKU’s Mass Media & Technology Hall in the Auditorium. The first film, In the Land of Blood and Honey, will be shown Sunday at 6pm. Monday will be Grabavic: The Land of my Dreams, Tuesday will be The Remake, Wednesday will be The Hunting Party, and Thursday will be Shot Through the Heart. These will begin at 6:30pm.
All movies are free. In addition, visit the MMTH Gallery to view a special photo exhibit, “In the Depth of My Land” by Dijana Muminovic featuring pictures of Bosnia, the aftermath of the war, genocide, and immigration to Bowling Green. Also on Friday, May 25 from 2-4pm at the WKU MMTH will be a Bosnian Educational Lecture.
