Yesterday at Bowling Green Pipe and Cigar a brand new brewery debuted (via draft) in Bowling Green and just recently became available to Kentucky. If you missed San Diego’s own Green Flash West Coast IPA on draft you can still pick it up at Bowling Green’s premiere micro brew store, Greenwood Spirits.
Beer Geek Nation Review:
From Green Flash Brewing’s site:
A menagerie of hops is layered throughout the brewing process: Simcoe for unique fruitiness and grapefruit zest, Columbus for strong hop pungency, Centennial for pine and citrus notes and Cascade for floral aroma. A multi-dimensional hop experience. ALC. BY VOL. 7.3% | IBUS: 95
Project Paso is the newest wine brand from one of the oldest winemaking families in California, Don Sabastiani and Sons. Don Sabastiani is a fourth generation California vintner with history back to 1895 when Samuele Sabastiani immigrated to Sonoma from Italy, opening his first winery in 1904. Their new wine is an 87 with a great value of just $12.99 a bottle.
Check out their facebook page. We look forward to working with ‘Greenwood Spirits Shoppe,’ a locally owned businesses, and hope you will consider them instead of going to those stores owned by out of town retailers.
