Fountain Square’s been growing and getting busier throughout the past couple years and now it’s time to kick it up a level. That’s why this year after the Downtown Light’s Up event on December 1st will kick off the ‘Fountain Square Christmas Market.’ It’ll be a time for shopping on the square at the local brick and mortar stores as well as the vendors set up.

Great Jewelry inside Tea Squares.

What Vendors? Well, why not you? If you have any items from jewelery, food, art, special gifts, decorations, holiday mugs, toys, musical instruments or basically anything that people will want to buy for Christmas gifts or decorations you will want to be at the Fountain Square Christmas Market. To get involved call Mike Barron at Morris Jewelery at 843.6103.

There will be a number of things going on during the Christmas Market as well. Enjoy horse and carriage rides, hot beverages, handcrafted gifts and special Christmas items. Many of the Fountain Square businesses will have extended hours as well as being open on Sunday. Also, live music from the Barren River Trio on Saturday as well as singing groups from area churches and schools. Why not get involved?
