Spencer’s French Press Recipe:
Using a French press (or press pot), add coarse-ground coffee (approx. 7.5 grams per 6-ounce “cup”) to just-off-the-boil water (195-205 degrees), and stir with a wooden or plastic spoon until any clumpings of the grounds are broken up. Place the lid on top, with plunger pulled completely up, and let steep for four minutes. Once four minutes have passed, press the plunger gently until it reaches the bottom, securing the coffee grounds at the bottom of the decanter. Pour and enjoy!
