Forgive me while I history geek out, the photo above is of William Goebel speaking in Bowling Green. He is one of the most notorious Governors in Kentucky history. Killing a man in a shootout before being elected, he was assassinated just after being elected. I just obtained a book about him, William Goebel ‘Politics of Wrath’ (You can pick up through WKU Store) and a must read for Kentucky history enthusiasts.
