Just a reminder that the next Southern Kentucky Genealogical Society meeting will be held Tonight at the Kentucky Building, Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, KY.
The meeting will begin at 6:30pm and is open to the public.
Jeri Steele will be presenting the program on the Resources of Fold3 – the web’s premier collection of original military records.
Jeri J Steele has been a genealogist for over 20 years. She is a professional genealogist but tries to make time for her own research. She is a descendant of 4 families that were in Smith County, Texas by 1852. She is likely kin to every LAND, PERDUE, some KIRKPATRICKS, and some GLENN families in Smith County. She lectures frequently on Genealogy and Technology topics as well as researching in North and East Texas records. We are glad to have Jeri as a member of SKGS and a resident of Bowling Green.
