This week we discuss the immigrant life of Jesus Puga and his parents. Jesus and his family arrived from Mexico when he was 8 years old and their drive and determination built to where they are today, with a successful Mexican Restaurant in Bowling Green. It’s not always been easy though. We discuss how College Graduation of 2008 was tough for Jesus as the job market dried up, how he got his work ethic from both sides of his family, cliff jumping, hiking and his need to find good dumplings in Southern Kentucky. We dive deep in what is REALLY Mexican food and what is not and how to be as local as possible when running a local based restaurant.
