The bedroom is often the most neglected room in the house when it comes to decorating. I don’t know about you, but I put a lot more thought into hanging pictures and accessorizing tables in the public spaces of my house that all my guests will see. It makes sense right?

But, as I’ve said before, your bedroom really is one of the most crucial spaces in your home – especially when it comes to your mental health and well being. It is a place you always need to be able to go to relax, unwind, and go to sleep. Keep it simple and clutter free, so your bedroom can remain restful. Create a restful bedroom by limiting furnishings and accessories.

I’m not encouraging you to leave your bedroom stark or drab, but instead use your accessories strategically. The best way… decorate on purpose. You’ll find yourself more at ease in the room that is meant for retreat and rejuvenation.
