The week ahead is looking like it’s going to be a busy one, really busy, but in the best way. Two very big things are happening this week for Think Little: one, we’re going to get our walk behind tractor and, two, our herb plants are going to be ready! Perfect timing, right? Not to mention we have to submit the paperwork for the KSU small farm grant we received last week for a pair of commercial dehydrators to have dried herbs and fruit year-round. All of these things, though, will be happening in the few hours here and there between harvesting and more planting, as with everything new thing that comes our way this time of year.
Speaking of harvesting, on Tuesday you’ll be getting: asparagus from our friend Peggy Grey, green onions, a bag of salad, a sautée mix, kale, kohlrabi, and possibly broccoli (keep your fingers crossed). Sorry to be so short with this one, but I have more paperwork to fill out…
