This Saturday is Opening Day at the SKY Farmers Market. Come join us at our NEW LOCATION in front of the Medical Center to celebrate the beginning of the 2014 season.
After a long, hard winter, spring is finally in the air and our salad days are upon us. Lettuce, spinach, and leafy greens are at their sweet and crispy best during the cool times of the year, and there’s nothing fresher than salads direct from your local SKY Farmers Market growers.
If you’ve got the itch to get to work in your yard and garden, our growers will have annual and perrenial bedding plants and flowers, vegetable and herb plants, baskets and planters at the market throughout the spring season.
Make the SKY Farmers Market a part of your Saturday morning. Spend some time with your friends and neighbors, reconnect with your SKY Market farmers, and treat yourself to the taste of spring.
We’ll see you there!
THIS YEAR’S VENDORS:
Joe and Debbie O’Daniel grow fresh vegetables, grass finished Angus beef, pastured poultry, free range eggs, vegetable transplants, annual and perennial bedding plants, and hanging baskets. Most all of our crops are grown naturally without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides.
We grow a wide array of naturally grown vegetables in season, pastured chicken, vine-ripened tomatoes May through October, many types of leaf lettuces and gourmet salad greens October through June. Also featuring fresh-baked bread and scones.
JD Country Milk is a family owned and operated dairy farm/proccessing plant located in Logan County, KY. We are dedicated to providing you with quality hormone free milk.
