Bowling Green Gives Back: Chili Cook Off & Auction With Community Action of Southern Kentucky. Event Now in Third Year Raising Funds for Foster Grandparent Program!

Take part in one of the hottest events of the year in Bowling Green! Community Action’s Foster Grandparent Program Chili Cook-Off takes place on Thursday, March 8, from 11:00am – 1:30pm at First Christian Church, 1106 State Street, in Bowling Green.

The public is invited to sample a dazzling variety of chili, all made fresh by local cooks. Chili toppings, drinks, and desserts will also be available. Tickets are $5.00 in advance, and $7 at the door.

There is no fee for entering the Chili Cook-Off. Contestants can enter judg- ing divisions including Traditional, Vegetarian, Spicy, Mild, and Anything Goes! Plus, the public will choose the “Taster’s Choice” award for the best chili overall!
