Just a reminder that the next Southern Kentucky Genealogical Society meeting will be held tonight at the Kentucky Building, Western Kentucky University. The meeting will begin at 6:30pm and is open to the public.

Bill Dow will be presenting the program: I Don’t Want To Talk About It – My Father, the British Home Child.  This is a story about the British Home Children who were orphaned, abandoned, or needed care, that were sent out from England and Scotland to the colonies to be given “a better life.”  This is the story of the research involved to uncover that information.
