Looking for Yasiel Puig rookie cards (Bowman’s are going for hundreds of dollars currently)? Head over to Steve’s Sports Cards before tonight’s All-Star game which will feature former Bowling Green Hot Rods Matt Moore.
It’s a great to remind of the greatness of the past and the past we are glad we moved on from. This is also captured in the two new sets of cards in from Topps:
Each pack contains six (6) ’13 Topps Gypsy Queen Base Cards and one (1) Base Mini Parallel. A Checklist Card will be inserted into every 6th Pack as an Additional Card (will not replace a Regular Card). The third time is always the charm! Topps Gypsy Queen returns for a third year and builds on the vintage & unique designs and features of the past two years. In addition to all of the awesome autographs, relics, and minis that have always been a part of Gypsy Queen, we are introducing Bat Barrel cards from the top players this year! One autographed or relic card every 24 packs. Insert cards include: • Bat Barrels •Featuring the name plate from the bat barrel #’d to 1. NEW! •Triple Autographed Relic Cards – Autographed cards featuring 3 autographed stickers and 3 relic swatches. Cards will be sequentially numbered to 10 or less.
Topps‘ first high-end baseball card release of 2013 will be Tribute as it unveiled the first looks and product details for the product, which is in its fifth straight year of revival after a break of several seasons. The 100-card base set will be comprised of current stars and greats of the game with seven versions of parallels available per card — Blue (/99), Green (/75), Orange (/50), Gold (/25), Red (/5), Purple (1/1) and printing plates.
Steve’s Sports Cards is located on 31w and is hidden a bit from the eye. If you look hard enough you will see this gem sitting off the road and just inviting you in. Steve’s Sports Cards is a great place because it has so much to offer the sports collector but, the fact they carry political collectibles is another feather in their cap. The longest running Sports card shop in the state, it’s a must see in Bowling Green.
