Lost River Pizza Co. is hosting Bowling Green’s First Restaurant Take Over & Bourbon Tasting Fund Raiser this Saturday, April 13th, starting at Noon. Chef Chad Head, Owner/ Executive Chef, of Chago’s Cantina located in Nashville, will be the featured Guest Chef for the event that will be held during lunch on Saturday at Lost River Pizza Co. Chef Head, is a Western Kentucky University Graduate and the event is going to help raise funds for the construction of a new house for the Phi Delta Theta Men’s Fraternity, of which Chad is an alumnus. In addition to the regular menu, Lost River Pizza Co. customers can enjoy a unique Tex Mex Lunch consisting of Tortilla Chips with a Chorizo Queso Dip, Fresh Guacamole and Hand Crafted Salsa along with their choice of Carnitas Stuffed Plantains or Tacos de La Cantina. Tickets for The Chago’s Take Over Lunch are $22 in advance and are available at Lost River Pizza Co. Tickets will be $28 on the day of the event. Nearly 70% of the tickets for the event are sold already, so go by Lost River Pizza Co. soon if you would like to join in on all the fun and great food!
Later that day at 4 pm, Drew Kulsveen, One of the Owners and Master Distillers of Kentucky Bourbon Distillers located in Bardstown, will be Leading a Bourbon Tasting featuring four of his family’s Award Winning Bourbons. Mr. Kulsveen is also an alumnus of WKU and Phi Delta Theta. Proceeds from his Bourbon Tasting will also go the construction of the new home for Phi Delta Theta. Bourbons being featured at the tasting include Willett, Noah’s Mill, Rowan’s Creek and Johnny Drum Private Stock. Tickets for the Event are $20 in advance or $26 at the time of the event. All Bourbon Tasting Participants must be at least 21 years of age.
