Southern Kentucky homeowners have many programs to choose from, Rebates, Financing for heating and cooling systems (that include low interest loans or even 0% financing options), and yes there are hvac tax credits available AGAIN.

Below we have an extensive list of programs available.
Tennessee Valley Authority, TVA’s In-Home Energy Evaluation Program. This program offers up to $500 in Cash Incentives for eligible energy efficient home improvements. Check out the Energy Right website for more information.
Trane High-Efficiency System Rebates: To be announced soon, there will be Rebates and Financing offers for qualifying Trane High-Efficiency System. See your Trane Dealer for more information.
Atmos Energy, Kentucky Energy Efficiency Program. This program offers up to $425.00 in Cash Incentives for eligible gas furnace replacements. Click here for more information. This program has a graduated scale from $250 for 90-93% AFUE, $325 for 94-95% AFUE, $400 for 96+% AFUE, and $25 for a programmable thermostat. Boilers, Water Heaters, and some Commercial Kitchen Equipment also qualifies.
Kentucky Home Performance Program, this program HAS ENDED, but is supposed to be on it’s way back as a financing program for Kentucky Homeowners. Check the Kentucky Home Performance website for updated information. This program did offer up to $2,000.00 in rebates for Weatherization, Insulation, and Energy Efficient HVAC Replacements, the new program is supposed to be low interest financing.

2012 Kentucky Tax Credits:
Many Southern Kentucky Homeowners have taken advantage of tax credits over the last few years. Many people think they have missed the chance to take advantage of these tax credits, this is simply not true. SOKY Homeowners can claim tax credits equal to 30% of the installed cost of qualifying systems up to $250. Also another $100 credit may be available for insulation improvements.

2012 Federal Tax Credits:
The tax credit for Standard High Efficiency Heating & Cooling systems has expired. The Geothermal Heating & Cooling Tax Credit is still in effect, until 2016. Geothermal Heat Pumps are the best energy saving way to heat and cool your home.
