The Last Signature at the end of August at JD Bakery and Cafe was a big success. So why not an encore? Well, mark your calendars for September 22nd and head to downtown for a taste of the farm from the heroes of SKY Farmer’s market. It was originally scheduled for the 15th but an family emergency from one of the vendors made the 22nd a better date.
The Menu so far will feature:
Downing Cattle Farm from Fountain Run, Kentucky Pork Chops and Steaks, Baked Sweet potatoes and regular potatoes. Of course the use of Kenny’s Farm House Cheese and JD Country Milk will be on the menu!
More details coming as more farms jump on to this wonderful dinner. Reservations are not required but if you want a table with your name on it call 846-7890. Although a RSVP would help, so Buy Local Bowling Green Suggests it. Fan their page and get down there Tue – Fri: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm and Sat: 7:00 am – 2:00 pm. They will serve the breakfast from 7:00 am till 12:00pm! Also, fan them on facebook for more updates.
