The Downtown Redevelopment Authority continues the 33rd Annual Concerts in the Park series brought to you by BB&T. Friday nights in July and August, bands will perform in Fountain Square Park at 6:30 and in Circus Square Park at 7:30. The two parks are only a few blocks from each other, so it’s super-easy to switch between the two, giving you the opportunity to take in two different bands on the same night!
Tomorrow- Peace of Mind/ Culture of Creatures (alternative teen) at Fountain Square; Fat Box (alternative/ rock) at Circus Square.
August 10– Felonius Funk (funk) at Fountain Square; Andy & the Rockers (R&B/ rock) at Circus Square *Duncan Hines Festival*
August 17– TBD Newgrass band at both parks
August 24– Shady Jake & the Upsetters (blues) at Fountain Square; Fender Benders (R&B/ blues) at Circus Square
All concerts are FREE to the public. Food, beer, soft drinks, and children’s activities will be available.
