The old ads when Danielle pulled them out just popped. Have to admit it. The staff of Buy Local Bowling Green loves a great ad. It’s that smoking ad that you would have seen Don Draper try to pitch in the first Season of ‘Mad Men.’ Or an ad using kids to promote smoking, the stuff that would make people freak out today.

Then of course there is the pin-ups by Jason “Deadeye” McDonald that he makes based on actual people. It’s an impressive work for the Pin-up girl collector. Check it all out:

Hollywood Smokes.

Cleopatra Smokes.

Seriously wrong. So you know you want it.

This is pretty large and was found in a local Bowling Green tobacco warehouse.

Don Draper’s Brand.

Advertising is art.

Jason “Deadeye” McDonald’s Work:

This one is beautifully framed and ready to hang.

Southern Mary is a classic.

Much more of his work is displayed at Labold and Sons at Spot Cash.

Labold and Sons has really become a friend to the “Buy Local” community and over the next year we hope the city embraces their unique shop as they develop their concept. Located at 326 E. Main Ave. currently you can fan them on facebook.
