The great American Humorist Erma Bombeck once said, “You have to love a nation that celebrates its independence every July 4, not with a parade of guns, tanks, and soldiers who file by the White House in a show of strength and muscle, but with family picnics where kids throw Frisbees, the potato salad gets iffy, and the flies die from happiness. You may think you have overeaten, but it is patriotism.” Honestly, we couldn’t agree more. The great American holiday is one where we celebrate the bravery of our forefathers and the rebellious streak when they threw off the oppression of a country that would hold them down. So, it’s an act of honor when we sport Red, White and Blue napkins, paper cups and have people dress up like Captain America.
