The National Corvette Museum is pleased to host the Vette Barn and its second annual Vette Barn “Barn Raising”. This event is quickly becoming a large and successful gathering which gives the VBforum participants a chance to come together and meet in person. Those attending are Corvette enthusiasts from all walks of life with the common goal of camaraderie and fun…even those from PR&C!!! Any corvette enthusiast is welcome, whether you’re a past owner, current owner, future owner or none of the above.
This year’s schedule has a wide variety of events. This includes seminars and on-site activities, as well as road tours – both local to Bowling Green and long distance. Of course, the “parking lot social hours” will continue on as a tradition.
NEW FOR 2012… the Yazoo Brewery Tour was added as part of the Thursday activities, as well as a Spa Morning on Friday. In addition, the first official Vette Barn Poker Tournament will be held in the hotel conference room Friday evening. 2012 also introduces Dixievett (Rob) as our gracious and talented chef and two nights of GRN ENVY’s (Marcus) super-savvy car washing skills.
All activities are open to Event Registrants only. Advance registrants will receive a hardcard credential, lanyard and event dash plaque. Barn Raising registration is $35 per person but NCM members are $25 per person. All inquiries about BRII can be sent to barnraising2@gmail.com.
Special Daily Activities
Driving Simulators Open: Demonstrations every hour on the hour, limited to 25 people per session
Plant Tours: The BG Assembly Plant operates on a Monday through Thursday schedule and is closed on Fridays. Plant Tours are $7.00 per person and are booked at the plant or on-line.
