The season of FUN at Beech Bend Amusement Park begins May 5 and continues every weekend until Wednesday, May 23 when daily operations begin! Splash Lagoon opens on May 17. New to the park this year is a 140-foot Drop Tower, the Zero-G, the tallest ride to ever strike Beech Bend! Also, a brand new show, Wild Bill Hiccup’s Wild West Show, hits the IGA Stage with daily performances beginning May 23, and there is a new kids’ Lilly Pad Challenge.
Also, new this year will be the new ride ‘ZERO G!’ Get ready to experience something never before seen at Beech Bend Park. Introducing Zero-G, the tallest ride to ever strike Beech Bend! Zero-G will pull its riders 140 feet in the air, a full 40 feet taller than even the mighty Kentucky Rumbler. Then feel the sky drop around you, as you plummet downwards at speeds of 60 mph. Riders will feel weightless, a true zero gravity experience. Get ready to feel a ride like no other on May 5, 2012, as you drop into the world of Zero-G!
Mosey on over to the new “Wild Bill Hiccups Wild West Show,” guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Visit the new Tiki Grill adjacent to Tiki Island. This new restaurant features subs, pizza, home-made donuts, and a variety of unique foods. There is also a new hydration station and new restrooms near the Tiki Grill.
