The Backpack Program at Broadway United Methodist provides food for area school children who do not receive enough food at home over the weekend. The next packing date is Thursday, May 10. You (if you should choose to join) will pack food bags at Hope House, located at the corner of 10th and Clay Street.
Two shifts are available: set up from 3-5pm and packing food bags from 5-7pm. Feel free to come and go at your convenience. Please contact Elise Coleman at 792-7374 or backpacks@broadwayunited.org if you would like to volunteer.
