I guess many people may not be familiar with King Cake. Well, it’s time to end that this year with a trip to Tea Squares. Right now, the Mardi Gras culinary legend is for sale at Bowling Green’s favorite place for Tea.
Approximately 14″ x 10″, each comes with a baby & beads, wrapped and boxed. Each king cake is rolled by hand, then cinnamon and sugar are braided into the cake. They’ve topped it with their very special frosted glaze, and sprinkled on purple, green and gold sanding sugar. Eat it warmed or straight up. Great with a black tea, like Assam or Irish Breakfast.
