What’s that? You’re tired of the weather rollercoaster? Better make sure that wig is glued down tight today, meemaw, because it’s gonna be windy. And it’s gonna get messy come Sunday, as the temperatures drop and we’re gonna feel like we’re in winter again for a couple days. [WXorNot & YouTube]
You know the Heated Rivalry buzz is real when the SOKY Ice Rink is the focus in Bowling Green. Yes, whoever wins this bid, we’ll come to the cottage. But you better make it worth it. Improvements to the seasonal SOKY Ice Rink received attention as magistrates voted to advertise for bids to build a platform for the rink to sit on, which will protect the asphalt surfacing below. What could possibly go wrong when you replace humans answering first responder calls with half-baked “AI” systems? When you eliminate the humanity from calling for help, you make the job of first responders more dangerous. I realize this is a food, dining, funtimes website but this is so disappointing and such a short-sighted use of “AI”. Use it for making funny cat pictures, not this. [WBKO]

It’s a wild, tyrannical, socialist plot to keep Bowling Green’s towed vehicle fees from being more expensive than Louisville or many other states with much higher costs of living. This is a horror we cannot overlook and not at all unscrupulous towing companies should absolutely be able to charge whatever they want and interpret the law as they see fit, citizens be danged. Tinkle alert if you choose to read this story about the city being sued. You know it’s hilarious if we’re on the side of government like this. [WKU Herald]
