The Daily Bowling Green for The Week of June 20th 2016.

A walk inside the Greenhouse at Three Lions Garden Center is our Daily Bowling Green for Monday, June 20th, 2016! Hope you enjoy.

Enjoy the horses by Beech Bend Park and Splash Lagoon and Beech Bend Raceway for The Daily Bowling Green. Birds chirping and sunny day (for now).

Took a 5 minute walk around our favorite wetland at Lost River Cave for The Daily Bowling Green. Bull Frogs chirping, ducks swimming and sunny day (for now).

Enjoyed a morning watching the Barren River at the boat launch. Used during the Civil War by both sides, this place is amazing by nature and by history. Full video on Facebook and our Youtube channel.

For Friday we cancelled our regular mode of Daily Bowling Green for a tribute to the first Buy Local Video we made with our friend Scooter Davis who passed away. As we wrote on Facebook:
“When I arrived in Bowling Green over a decade ago to work with Scooter Davis it was undeniable how loved Scooter Davis was by this community. I know this because when he took me to Gregory Lee’s to sit and get to know each other he spent more time talking to fans. He worked the room like no other. He was as nice in person as he was on the air. He had time for every single one of his fans and truly cared about each person in this community. I remember talking to him for hours about trains, our family roots in Baskersfield, California and fun stories about a mutual friend we had from our radio background. He just had a way about connecting with everyone. He had some great stories that I can’t share here but the man had a wicked sense of humor. When I went out on my own he was the first person to call me when I started Buy Local Bowling Green and the first person to do a video promoting our community. He didn’t have to do that. It’s a sad day in Kentucky because we lost a legend. I’m sad for the loss for his family, friends and fans. I hope he can now rest in peace with no pain from his illness.”
