Big news in the Farmers Market and basically “Good Eating” community. Home Cafe and Marketplace, one of Bowling Green’s Top Restaurants, will join the market as a vendor. From Home Cafe and Marketplace:
We are proud to announce beginning Saturday April 26 Home Cafe & Marketplace will be the newest vendor at Community Farmers Market Bowling Green!!!!
When Chelsey and I opened Home we dreamed of a place where not only you could come get a great meal, but you could also stock up on pantry essentials such as jams, pickled summer vegetables, and fresh pasta. The only problem was the cafe part got so busy so fast we had to abandon the marketplace aspect…until now.
We will be excited to work with many local farms by offering value added versions of their products such as pasta sauces, pickled vegetables, soups, cured meats, and savory breads. Additionally we will be offering a weekly $20 CSA share which will compliment other seasonal items from other vendors at the market.
Look for more information in the coming weeks regarding both The Marketplace and our CSA. We can not wait to officially be part of the Community Farmer’s Market Family!
