We at Buy Local Bowling Green hope the best for all parties involved but this is a big story for our Region and we turn to those who cover things like this to give us the best reporting possible. First from the Bowling Green Daily New:
Liens totaling nearly $2.4 million have been filed against Mills Family Realty Inc. for money unpaid for services in the construction of the commercial wrap of the parking garage in Block 6 of the Tax Increment Financing District, and this morning restaurants operated by the company were closed.
Mills Family Realty, in addition to developing the commercial wrap on the side of Bowling Green Ballpark, owns and operates Mariah’s and 6-4-3 restaurants, which this morning had signs posted that the restaurants were “closed until further notice.”
Liens were filed in the Warren County Courthouse late Friday afternoon and were unavailable until this morning on behalf of Alliance Corporation of Glasgow and D&M Electric in Bowling Green.

The unfortunate closing of 2 downtown restaurants we turn to WBKO:
Less than one year after opening Hitcents Park Plaza, the two remaining open restaurants have closed.
643 Sports Bar was a new restaurant opened last April in the plaza.
Also last April, Mariah’s moved from the building that gave the restaurant its name to Hitcents Park Plaza to anchor the then five restaurants in the facility.
Clinton Mills, of Mill Realty released a statement to WBKO about the closing Monday morning.
“As of Monday morning, 643 Sports Bar and Mariah’s will be closed until further notice. We are painfully aware of the effects this will have on the employees and their families and our hearts go out to them. We hope Mariah’s will be brought back as we recognize that it is a staple of the community and the downtown area. At this time we have no further comment.”
