The SKY Farmer’s market is opening April 6th, they’ll have a nice selection of early spring greens when it opens, as April continues, they will have more spring produce as well as a large selection of bedding plants, herbs, vegetable transplants, etc. It is not too late to join, and applications are available on their website under the membership tab. Oh, and it is our 10th season, so they consider it a milestone anniversary!

If so, take a look at our member documents. We start inspecting all members in early to mid March in preparation for our mid-April Opening Day. When you decide to join, please remember your farm/business must be inspected before you sell at the market, so give us enough time to arrange that. Two or more weeks would be helpful. We’ll call you to arrange a time for the inspection of your farm/business.
Please read carefully through the market guidelines and, if applicable, the HB 391 regulations before filling out your application.
Also, if you intend to do sampling of your product(s), you will need to attend a session on the state’s sampling rules. Your county extension office can help you with locations where it will be held. We are governed by a board of directors that has a farmer majority and most staff work is done by volunteers. If you are interested in joining the market or if you have any questions, please contact us.
