“Nana’s Nest” began in the spring of 2010 when then sixty-one year old Carol Burt decided to join the local Farmer’s Market in Bowling Green, Kentucky. “Nana”, as she is called by her grandchildren, did not grow vegetables, but she did have another product interesting to the crowds at the Market. Now she has the customers of Candle Maker’s On The Square excited for Father’s Day with various items set up in the store:

The domino sets are over sized just in case Papaw forgets his glasses.

Each piece is cut, sanded, stamped, lacquered, waxed and buffed by hand.

Available in walnut, cherry, pine and cedar.

Beautiful benches are available.

Also, Candle Maker’s is moving! Not off the Square but to their new address at 415B Park Row. It’s right next door to where they currently are located. They we’ll have more room for candles, and all sorts of other goodies! They will continue to sell Meo’s White Squirrel Soap, and the Alvaton based peanut butter company Southern Spreads will still keep us stocked with their excellent prodcuts. Local honey, jellies and jams will also be available.
With so much room, they’ll have everything from musical instruments for the kids, to collectible horse and angel figurines for Grandma. Come check out their new digs at our Grand Reopening, date TBD. Make sure you get on their email list and check their facebook page out.
