The one thing I learned a long time ago when shopping at Greenwood Spirits, they will have the largest selection at one of the most competitive prices. With their most recent owner change about a year ago they started selling a larger variety and pricing it that I could explore their many options. Well, now they are giving us more to explore with a New Growler Bar (pictured above), new beer from Mikkeller and new wine from Cline in California!

Mikkeller is a so-called “phantom”microbrewery based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The company brews at a variety of facilities in different countries, including Denmark, Norway, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The beers now for pick-up at Greenwood Spirits Shoppe:

Mikkeller Big Worst Bourbon Barrel

Mikkeller Beer Geek Brunch Weasel

Mikkeller Sleepover Coffee IPA

BrewDog Mikkeller I Hardcore You

Now for the Cline Wines:

Cline Cool Climate Pinot Noir- Tasting Notes Bright red fruit, deep color, lush body with hints of strawberry, mint and vanilla. PAIRS WELL WITH: roast beef, linguini with clam sauce and cherry tart.

“It is difficult to find inexpensive Viognier, but Cline Cellars’ 2010 is certainly an authentic Viognier. Notes of white peach, apricot jam, honeysuckle and assorted tropical fruits emerge from this fresh, light to medium-bodied white along with crisp underlying acidity. At this price, it’s a steal.” -Wine Advocate

Cline Ancient Vines Zinfandel- FOOD PAIRING: Ripe fruit and soft tannins make this mouthcoating rich vintage a nice complement to pasta dishes with a light tomato sauce or grilled meats.

Cline  Cashmere- Cashmere is a very flavorful, smooth wine offering big cherry, raspberry and chocolate notes with hints of cracked black pepper and plum. A portion of the proceeds from every bottle sold will be donated to the Breast Cancer Network of Strength.

Check out their facebook page. We look forward to working with ‘Greenwood Spirits Shoppe,’ a locally owned businesses, and hope you will consider them instead of going to those stores owned by out of town retailers. Plus stay tuned for the other 5 sections of beers!
