Mark your calendar for the 16th Annual Total Fitness Connection’s Run Walk for Children to benefit the Family Enrichment Center and support child abuse prevention. This event will include something for your entire family: Mini-Marathon (13.1 miles), a 5K Run(3.1 mile) and 5K Fun Walk (5K), and a Pump & Run (5K) event will take place at Basil Griffin Park in Warren County on March 31, 2012.
There will also be a Pasta Party, children’s activities, Expo, and a silent auction on March 30th at Total Fitness Connection on Three Springs Road. Event participants will receive a free T-shirt, breakfast reception, “goody bag,” and on-site sports massage the day of the event. Awards will be given in each age division for the Mini Marathon and 5K Run. Families, businesses, charity organizations, and church groups are encouraged to participate in the event together by forming a team. To sign up for the run walk race, fill out their online form!
