Second Saturday Street fairs are held in and around Fountain Square, in the heart of the city. Our street fair has been growing each year, and now features two live bands that perform from noon on. We also have inflatables for kids, a Fountain Square Choo, face painting, Rockin B Horse and Carriage rides, Chess and other fun activities for the family. This, of course, in addition to all the great vendors who participate and sell their wares. Our local television station WNKY is again our media sponsor. We are planning also to have a Farmers Market component to Second Saturdays. Exciting!
Attached your will find application and event forms for this year. We have special rates and privileges for those who commit to participating in all seven of our events this year. They include one event free, and choice of location guaranteed for each event. We are asking vendors to register by April 7th for our first event on April 14th. If you have a favorite spot, please contact us early to reserve it for the season. Please notice that our times have changed slightly in response to suggestions for many of you. We are also asking that participating vendors plan to stay for the entire event — 10AM to 5PM this year. A reminder that tables, chairs and canopies are provided by the vendor.
