Candle Maker’s On The Square is more than just a place to buy candles but they sure make it hard not to focus on how great they are at doing just that. We’ve often covered new scents and techniques they use in their process. Recently Labold and Sons Salvage delivered a new treasure to Candle Makers with vintage candle jars. Above and below you can see these simple but elegant glass beauties:
The far left jar has a lid that doubles as something that can be used on a burner.
Also with the upcoming outside School sporting events of Football, Soccer and Cross Country; parents can be prepared to keep the bugs away with Candle Maker’s Citronella. They are now offering Citronella Candles (some in seamless tins or whatever you would like). Citronella candles are candles which are blended with essential oil from citronella, a grass native to Asia. Citronella oil is supposed to be an effective natural insect repellent, with citronella candles classically being used to keep insects like mosquitoes away from decks, campsites, and other outdoor locations.
Lastly, Candle Makers on The Square now features original and prints from the local artist Christy Long. Bowling Green based artist that specializing in great nature scenes.
