One of the great things about Candle Maker’s On the Square is the local art and other pieces they sale. Two things you’ll find out after spending any time in there is they have a great staff and one of them makes great jewelry. Becky Hesson has made jewelry since she was a little girl; necklaces, earrings, bracelets, for her family and friends. For a few years she made custom jewelry sets to raise money for local animal rescue groups she was a part of in Texas and Washington state.
While in Washington she started making high end jewelry to sell in a boutique store located in Fort Lewis, Washington. That was where she learned about quality construction. She honed her techniques and she quickly became the top selling designer of the store. In 2007 she moved to Kentucky. Jewelry designing became just a hobby again until April 2010 when she started working at Morris Jewelry. There she was able to do re-stringing and repairs for customers jewelry.
Now she works at Candle Makers On The Square making the best candles and she is now able to display and sell the jewelry. It’s unique, one of a kind and high quality in construction and materials. She also does custom commission pieces and Becky adds new stuff weekly at Candle Makers on The Square. Her are a few more of her pieces:
