The European Bakery shut down some months ago at 728 Old Morgantown Road. The feel was much different than what I experienced last week when I walked into Novo Dolce Espresso Bar. When I pulled up it looked like what people say a European Cafe would look like but, had a feel of a South Beach Miami cafe. Very cool place with wifi for those who need to work but, with a menu that makes you want to indulge.
Open daily from 7am-7pm and offering new drinks and sandwich specials each day. Freshly made and delicious pastries, desserts, sandwiches, and all sorts of coffee options. The thing that caught my attention was the beautiful pasta plates and pizza. Then as I turned, I see it:

The choices are many from Paninis, Sandwiches, Pizzas, Gelato, Espresso, Machiatos, home-made desserts (By the mother of owner) and on and on, it all looked great on our two visits last week. It’s a great place to check out over the next few months and see if it can live up to what we saw from our initial visits. We are excited to see this newest addition to the Bowling Green Food Landscape and hope they are spurring the bar to be raised.
